Bullying Note.

Have you ever been bullied? Well if you have now is a time to stand up for yourself and others.

A girl name Emma Brookland was bullied by some girls from her high school. Every day she had to put up with them calling her names and stealing her lunch. One day it got to her, she went home and started to write, horrible things about herself. She was so sad, each and everyday day it got worse. She began writing suicide note saying,

“Dear diary I hate my life just as much as everyone hates me. My life has gone to waste I don’t even know why I’m still here. Today might be the last thing I write”.

She did it for days.

“Dear diary everyone hates me, they call me names and tell me to kill myself. I don’t know what to do. I could cut, that might take the pain away”.

So every day she wrote - day after day after day until her parents were asking her questions about why her grades had gone down so low. Her mum caught a glimpse of her arm. (“they saw the marks of pain and hurt”) They had a good talk about it, but their words did not help, because as long as she was hurting the bully was happy and she was fine. She continued to keep writing for it was the only thing that kept her going.

“Dear diary today at school was even worse my bully started to chuck things at me. I can’t do much about it because I have become very weak due to the amount of blood that I have lost the past couple weeks. I don’t think I can take it anymore”.

She went out to lounge and sat on the couch. Her parents had gone out to get dinner. As she sat there the bad memories came all she heard was people shouting, “die. Kill yourself. No One likes you”. She rushed to her room and grabbed her diary and wrote one last word. “Dear diary BYE”.

This is a message to people who have got bullied or are getting bullied. Get help.  Tell someone you trust. Stop bullying it’s not good, people get hurt sometimes even worse. So please look out for yourself and others, also don’t be a side liner just don’t let it happen. Don’t let anyone get the best of you, sometimes all it takes is for someone to reach out.

Eva's Leavers Legacy in a Different Perspective.

Eva’s leavers legacy.

Eva was a shining student. She had many qualities. For example; Confident, positive, excited for learning, friendship, and she was always a role model for kids younger than her.

Henceforth the reason why we chose her to get the leadership award. She has proved herself to us teachers and to lots of others in the school.

When times got hard for her she pushed through it and just thought about the positive.

A message she would like to leave Corinna is…

“Keep your head high in times of negativity, give your all and negativity will turn in to positivity.” Quote my Eva Bishop.

Eva's Leavers Legacy.

Eva’s leavers legacy 2018

One of the most important things I have achieved at Corinna was the leadership award. The reason why I think it’s the most important is that I strived for that award. I wanted it so bad. Which means I have met my goal and I have worked my hardest to be where I am today.

Some people who have helped me to achieve my goals were my friends. They helped by pushing me to my limits and helping me when I needed it the most. My teachers and principal have also been a big part of my learning. For example; Ardelle, Helen, Kate, Sophia, and Miss Whiting. They pushed me to make the right decisions to get me what I want and need. “Great teachers empathize with kids, respect them, and believe that each one has something special that can be built upon” (Quote by Ann Lieberman).

A great experience for me was Kapa Haka. I think this was a great experience because we have been through so much. We’ve cried together, laughed together and had much fun time.

I would like to be remembered as a leader of the school. Someone who may have had a few mistakes, but I want people to know that I got past those mistakes and strived for greatness. I want kids to look up to me in a good way and remember me for all those things.

I would like to thank my teachers Helen and Ardelle who had to put up with me sharing all my work to them every single day (and night!). Asking for new things to do and for them for just being there for me. I would like to say a great BIG thank you. I would also like to say thanks to all my friends who have to put up with me being a big drama queen. Being really annoying and for bragging to them about lots and lots of things. You guys have been there for me every day for that I’m grateful to have you’s if I could do it all again I would. I don’t regret any of it.

A Moment in Time Production Story.

A Moment in Time Production Story.

As the spotlight made its way back to my group, we stood and walked seamlessly towards the center of the stage. My heart starts racing with joy. It’s my last line. Make the most of it!

“STOP WE HAVE SOMETHING WE NEED TO SHOW YOU!”
And that was the line over and done with.

Now for the dance. I could hear the music getting louder and louder. It was time, time to get into the dancing spirit. I was puffed, sweat dripping down my face, with blushed cheeks, and body aches.

Every action was big, well bigger than expected. I was just so excited I couldn’t hold it in. One thing I loved about our dance was that we were all having so much fun. I don’t know if we made a mistake and even if we did I don’t think our audience knew.

After the production, I felt proud. I said all my lines with a confident and clear voice. Everyone played their part amazingly. Some feedback I got was to look up when I am saying my lines. Other than that we did amazing.
