Have you ever been bullied? Well if you have now is a time to stand up for yourself and others.
A girl name Emma Brookland was bullied by some girls from her high school. Every day she had to put up with them calling her names and stealing her lunch. One day it got to her, she went home and started to write, horrible things about herself. She was so sad, each and everyday day it got worse. She began writing suicide note saying,
“Dear diary I hate my life just as much as everyone hates me. My life has gone to waste I don’t even know why I’m still here. Today might be the last thing I write”.
She did it for days.
“Dear diary everyone hates me, they call me names and tell me to kill myself. I don’t know what to do. I could cut, that might take the pain away”.
So every day she wrote - day after day after day until her parents were asking her questions about why her grades had gone down so low. Her mum caught a glimpse of her arm. (“they saw the marks of pain and hurt”) They had a good talk about it, but their words did not help, because as long as she was hurting the bully was happy and she was fine. She continued to keep writing for it was the only thing that kept her going.
“Dear diary today at school was even worse my bully started to chuck things at me. I can’t do much about it because I have become very weak due to the amount of blood that I have lost the past couple weeks. I don’t think I can take it anymore”.
She went out to lounge and sat on the couch. Her parents had gone out to get dinner. As she sat there the bad memories came all she heard was people shouting, “die. Kill yourself. No One likes you”. She rushed to her room and grabbed her diary and wrote one last word. “Dear diary BYE”.
This is a message to people who have got bullied or are getting bullied. Get help. Tell someone you trust. Stop bullying it’s not good, people get hurt sometimes even worse. So please look out for yourself and others, also don’t be a side liner just don’t let it happen. Don’t let anyone get the best of you, sometimes all it takes is for someone to reach out.
