Eva's P.E learning story

At my old school we were learning about how to stick together, using different strategies to make it a challenge and always share the ball and don’t keep the ball to yourself.

I always had a new goal each week when we did P.e. Some of my goals were to have fun, try my best and never give up. My teacher would always encourage me to persevere in games that I didn’t like, so that kind of made me like the games a little bit more.

The teacher would always give me advice after the game to help me get better. And the kids would help me out by telling me what to do if I get things wrong. And they just encourage me to keep trying and to do my best.

I would get feedback from the teachers and from the kids. Most of my feedback is good. My feedback was mostly just you did well today, sometimes my teacher would say you need to try harder next week.

In P.e sometimes we netball did warm ups, that was only if you were in the netball team. We also played other sports games and other warm ups. We would sometime just do things like squats and sometimes we would do stretches.

I was successful at trying to persevere in all the game even the ones that I did not like. I think I was pretty successful at trying my best each week. Also trying to encourage my team to do their best to beat the other team.

We had to use a good strategy to beat the other team. When we did not win the games we would not cry over a game or say the other team cheated, we would just get on with life a think about how we could beat them next time.

We also had to talk and shout when we were playing dodge ball. So that we could communicate with each other and know what we were planning to do, what we needed to start doing and how we can help our team out. When we do this we notice what is changing, how we will make it change even more. We notice that we will always start to change the strategy that we are using. So it will make it a challenge for the other team to win against us.

I think what makes me and my team successful is that we always work together to help each other when we get hurt when we are playing the game and when we don’t know how to play the game. My whole team puts in their all and they try there best, to play even if the game is hard or they don’t what to play they would always play any way they would always do it for the team.

I take a risk when we have new games to play. And I try to participate even in games that I do not enjoy.
